A nice big model, docile, thirties style with cabane wings, and pilot in open cockpit forward of the LE.

The model is powered by two OS 26 Surpass four stroke engines fitted with 10 x 5 inch propellers. The take off run is quite long but once airborne flies easily at half throttle. Covering is Solartex. On the first flight the starboard engine threw a propeller and it was a while before the pilot and observers noticed it was flying on one engine, so that says much for it's stability.

Since ailerons are fitted the dihedral as indicated on the plan was much reduced. Subsequent to completion two carbon fibre stiffeners have been fitted between the upper surface of the tailplane and fin. Three ounce fuel tanks are fitted and duration is approximately ten minutes. Needless to say the model is a real pleasure to fly in light wind conditions.
